How to read this
TVL is not safety
Total value locked estimates assets sitting in a protocol’s contracts. A large figure is not an audit, a withdrawal promise, or a score for the team.
Volume is not quality
24-hour and 7-day volume are reported turnover. A busy window does not mean fair pricing, solvency, or a reason to use a venue.
Aggregates lag
DefiLlama revises history, misses venues, and can double-count related deployments. These are literacy figures, not a live order book.
Category Dexs only
Tables keep protocols tagged exactly “Dexs”. Prediction markets, launchpads, trading apps, and other categories are left out.
The strip is not the sum of five rows
The market strip is DefiLlama’s DEX overview total. It is their published aggregate for that endpoint, not a total we recompute from the tables.
