Release radar: week of 19 Oct 2026

Window: tags and releases published roughly 12–19 Oct 2026 (week ending Monday 19 Oct). Verified on upstream GitHub release and tag pages and git.rust-bitcoin.org (UTC dates).

1. Bitcoin Core: no new tag this week. v32.0rc4, tagged 12 Oct and listed last week, is still the newest 32.0 build; there is no rc5 and no final v32.0 tag yet, so 32.0 remains a test build.
2. Core Lightning: no release this week (releases; newest is v26.06.9 from 7 Oct).
3. LND: no release this week (releases; newest are v0.21.4-beta and v0.20.5-beta from 1 Oct).
4. LDK (rust-lightning): no release this week (primary repository, mirrored to GitHub; newest tags, v0.3-rc3, v0.2.7 and v0.1.13, are from 2 Oct).
5. Ollama: v0.40.6 (16 Oct 2026; after v0.40.4 on 12 Oct and v0.40.5 on 14 Oct): v0.40.4 lets ollama run --ask run decision models that answer yes/no, classify or score input, v0.40.5 adds Nemotron 3.5 support through updated llama.cpp and MLX, and v0.40.6 stops orphaned runner processes on Windows and adds the q2_0 GGUF tensor type; a v0.40.7-rc0 pre-release followed on 18 Oct.
6. nostr-protocol/nips: no tagged release this week; NIPs are merged continuously (repository).
7. Autonomi: Autonomi Node v0.23.0 (16 Oct 2026): nodes delete the retired LMDB chunk store and its migration code, again penalise peers that fail to hold chunks they are responsible for, and keep the first final state of a pointer record instead of letting a later proof replace it; a networking dependency update addresses three RustSec advisories, and running nodes auto-upgrade over a 24-hour staged rollout.
8. Monero: v0.18.5.4 (tagged 15 Oct, release page 17 Oct 2026): bug-fix point release that adds the new DNSSEC root trust anchor so the daemon can keep validating DNS checkpoints, blocklists and update checks, and restores string-to-integer conversion in JSON RPC requests until v0.19.
