Release radar: week of 5 Oct 2026

Window: tags and releases published roughly 28 Sep–5 Oct 2026 (week ending Monday 5 Oct). Verified on upstream GitHub release/tag pages.

1. Bitcoin Core — v32.0rc3 (1 Oct 2026): third release candidate for 32.0, adding post-rc2 backports (private broadcast marked experimental, fee-estimator fallback, wallet descriptor comparison fixes); draft notes cover global transaction-relay rate limits and related node changes.
2. Core Lightning — no release this week.
3. LND — v0.21.4-beta (1 Oct 2026; maintenance twin v0.20.5-beta the same day): fixes HTLCs that could be left pending during channel lifecycle transitions (risking unnecessary force closes) and stops opening or accepting new legacy-commitment channels.
4. LDK (rust-lightning) — v0.2.7 (2 Oct 2026): security point release — fixes funds-theft paths exploitable by a malicious counterparty or LSPS2 client, plus two DoS fixes (security backport v0.1.13 and v0.3-rc3 tagged the same day).
5. Ollama — v0.35.1 (29 Sep 2026): adds Clef decision models on /v1/systemone (route introduced in v0.35.0, 28 Sep) and reports decision models with only the decision capability so clients stop offering them as chat.
6. nostr-protocol/nips — has no tagged release this week because NIPs are merged continuously.
7. Autonomi — Autonomi Node v0.21.0 (1 Oct 2026): adds pointer records (mutable references) that nodes store, replicate and audit like chunks; running nodes auto-upgrade in a 24-hour staged rollout (releases now publish under WithAutonomi; maidsafe/autonomi is archived).
8. Monero — v0.18.5.3 (2 Oct 2026): signed Fluorine Fermi point tag with RPC/p2p/wallet validation and restricted-RPC hardenings (GitHub tag page; getmonero blog not yet listing at draft time).
